East Center, built
in 1963, is Green
Valley Recreation's oldest and most beautiful center.
With its distinctive
architectural style and
prominent location at the end of Esperanza Boulevard, this
center has become a Green Valley landmark. The
breathtaking Rose Garden at the front of the center is maintained
by the Green Valley Rose Society and is a major focal point
in the community. East Center also hosts a wide
variety of amenities such as the
Camera Club, The Aquabelles
- a synchronized swimming group, lapidary shop,
an art room, billiards room, swimming pool
with a chair lift, spa, fitness center, shuffleboard courts,
tennis courts, sand volleyball
court, and a sports court that
provides paddle ball and basketball.
East Center has an auditorium, lounge, meeting rooms, and
a kitchen for catering events.
