To
use GVR facilities or to participate in programs,
events and classes you must have a valid membership.

GVR
Membership is a deed restriction
in perpetuity to a
property within the established
boundaries of Green Valley
Recreation, Inc. Because the membership
is a deed restriction
in perpetuity on the property,
cancellation of membership is
not an option. GVR Membership
passes from owner to owner
when a property sells.
|
| |
How
to become a member:
|
| |
- Purchase
a home that already has GVR, or
-
Purchase a home within GVR established
boundaries that does not have GVR
and sign an agreement to deed restrict
the property for the Initial Fee
+ Pro-Rated dues. If you are not
sure the property is within GVR
established boundaries, please call
the Membership Department.

Priveleges for Tenants:
|
| |
If
you are using the services of
a Rental Property Management Company,
the company will supply your tenants
with the proper paperwork to obtain
their GVR Tenant Cards
|
| |
If
your tenants are renting directly
from you, please follow these
steps:
|
|
-
By signing this form you, as
the owner(s), give GVR permission
to transfer your GVR privileges
to the tenant(s) while they
are in residence. The owners
will not have GVR privileges
during the tenant’s stay
|
|
-
Give the completed form to your
tenants. They must have it IN
HAND to obtain their tenant
cards from any GVR office. Faxing
the form to GVR and/or calling
for telephone authorization
is NOT acceptable
|
- GVR
staff cannot process tenant
cards without the completed
Tenant Card Request Form.
A lease agreement is not acceptable
to obtain tenant cards
|
-
Be sure your GVR dues are paid
in full, as tenant cards cannot
be processed on delinquent accounts
|
| |
By
following the above, your tenants
will avoid any delay in obtaining
their tenant cards and enjoy all
that GVR has to offer!

Guests
and GVR
New
Guest Card Policy
- The
Guest Card Task Force, which consisted
of GVR board members, staff and
volunteers, proposed the new Annual
Guest Card policy to the board on
July 22, 2008. The policy was approved
and is taking effect January 1,
2009. The new policy increases convenience
for members and guests (ie. the
member does not have to accompany
guests to the facilities) while
maintaining the integrity of GVR
facilities.
•
An Annual Guest Card will
be created and issued on
a member’s account upon
request.
|
•
The card will resemble a
membership card (barcode
and name), however, will
be a different color.
|
•
The Annual Guest Card may
be purchased annually for
a fee of $20 and may be
renewed annually.
|
•
The Annual Guest Card will
be valid for 1 calendar
year and may be renewed
on January 1st of the following
year (or anytime throughout
the year).
|
•
Members will have the option
of purchasing a second card
for $10; however, no more
than two cards will be issued
per membership.
|
•
Guests may visit the facilities
unaccompanied by a member
if they possess a valid
Annual Guest Card.
|
•
Guests will still be required
to swipe in at the attendance
readers at the pools and
fitness rooms.
|
•
The Annual Guest Card will
grant guests access to facilities
by opening access doors
and gates.
|
•
GVR will continue to offer
the $1 per day guest passes
for those who would like
to purchase guest passes
on a per day basis.
|
•
Tenants will not be permitted
to purchase the Annual Guest
Cards. They will be able
to purchase the $1 per day
cards as they currently
do.
|
| |
It
is important to note that
members are still responsible
for adhering to GVR’s current
guest policy, which states,
“Guest privileges are intended
for temporary visitors of
a Regular or Assigned Member
of GVR and who live outside
a twenty (20) mile radius
of established GVR boundaries.” |
