Community Information

Currently, Green Valley, Arizona is located in the unincorporated area of Pima County. That means that governmental services are provided by the county and are available at the Pima County Government Center on La Canada Drive, located just north of Esperanza at 601 N. La Canada Drive.

Green Valley Chamber of Commerce

If you are interested in sights and activities in the Greater Green Valley area, need a map, information on travel excursions, visit the Green Valley Chamber of Commerce located at the Fifth Third Bank Building on Continental just west of I-19 at 270 W. Continental Road - (520) 625-7575.

Since Green Valley is still unincorporated, the Green Valley Community Coordinating Council (GVCCC) or "the Council" is the catalyst bringing together issues pertaining to community issues, growth, and development. The Council serves as the local volunteer government in place of local legal jurisdiction. The Council is located in the Green Valley Mall at La Canada and Esperanza at 101-14B S. Casa Community Center is a recreational program for seniors. Casa de Esperanza provides transportation, activities, crafts, trips, and entertainment. Participants may bring their own lunch or utilize the meal program provided by Catholic Social Services. The program is free of charge to all residents in Green Valley. The Casa Community Center is located in the La Posada complex at Continental Road and White House Canyon Road at 780 W. Park Centre Drive - (520) 625-2272.

The Green Valley Fire District and Rural Metro provide fire and emergency medical services to the residents of Green Valley. There are three (3) fire stations located throughout Green Valley at:

Station 151: 555 N. La Canada Drive
Station 152: 3005 S. Camino del Sol

Station 153: 210 E. Continental Road

The Greater Green Valley Arts Council provides visitors and residents of the Greater Green Valley area a monthly cultural calendar of events open to the public. Friends in Deed is an organization that provides transportation and a durable medical goods loan program. They are located off of La Canada Drive, north of the Pima County Government Center at 301 W. Camino Casa Verde (520) 625-1150.
