Is GVR ready to quit? Staff have received multiple complaints in recent weeks about folks smoking or vaping near entrances, near pool walls, and on sports courts. GVR’s current policy is that smoking and vaping are permitted only in designated areas. Unfortunately, very few of these designated smoking areas are equipped. Over time, disused ashtrays have rusted out and benches have broken. Smoking is rarely seen in Green Valley these days. Is it time to make the campus smoke- and vape-free rather than spend the money to replace these items?
